Performance
I've been performing and writing since before I knew that's what I was doing, finding in language, voice, and body a way to say the things that don't fit into ordinary conversation.
My spoken word work moves between the personal and the political; it is tender and it is sharp. It draws on years of actor training - on the Shakespearean stage, in contemporary art spaces, on screen - and on the ongoing practice of finding joy in the places you least expect it. Each performance is original, alive to the room it's in, and built to leave something behind long after the words have landed.
I perform at festivals, exhibitions, art spaces, gallery openings, corporate events, and intimate gatherings. Recent and notable work includes:
